I've redesigned my website every year since 2003. Is this a habit or an addictive behavior? Anyway, it makes me refreshed.

Draw-A-Thon

Their performance and costumes were scary for me. I much prefer listening to jazz at the Society of Illustrators.

Life Portrait

The open door shows the inside of a room, which represents the inside of my thoughts and myself. I used to design commercial space, but now I draw my ideas on two-dimensional space. Since I changed my major and moved to NYC, I have spent a lot of time alone in my room, so the cat in this room represents me. The snail TV is a metaphor for my laziness. Sometimes, it is hard to organize my time now that I don't have a job restricting me. The empty bookcase is my career in illustration. Although everything is challenging for me, I wanted to express my potential through the bookcase. I was thinking that the cat on my life portrait is painting her self portrait on the wall. It is unfinished because I haven't been satisfied with my work yet.

Frank Lloyd Wright is one of my favorite architects. A reporter asked him, " Of your many beautiful designs, which one is your favorite?" And he answered without hesitation, "My next one."

I also hope that my next idea or work is better than now. Even though the cat looks lazy as I am, I wanted to show that I am still working on my work, and stretching to next level.

Outside the window, you can see a nighttime view of NYC.
